Mari-Jean Anderson, 72, was born in New York on June 29, 1952 and passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on September 2, 2024. She lived a life filled with love, warmth, and family.
As a cherished mother, wife, sister, grandparent, godmother, aunt and friend, Mari-Jean is survived by her husband, Clark Anderson; her son, Zachariah Phillips; her granddaughter, Lila Phillips; and an incredibly close family. They will deeply miss her presence and the joy she brought into their lives.
As a relationship coach, Mari-Jean made a profound impact on many lives. Her expertise in helping individuals navigate their personal relationships and find harmony was deeply admired. Her compassionate approach and dedication to her clients were hallmarks of her career.
Beyond her many professional accomplishments, Mari-Jean had a deep ardor for gardening. She found great joy in nurturing her garden and cultivating beauty, but her true passion was the time spent with her loved ones. Her compassion and kindness were evident in everything she did, whether she was tending to her plants or creating lasting memories with her family.
A celebration of Mari-Jean’s life will be held on January 5, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia. The location will be announced at a later date.
Mari-Jean will be remembered for her unwavering compassion and kindness. Her spirit and legacy will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew and loved her.
