Zac, I met Mari Anderson through the orchid society in Tampa. Through her, I met you as I was showing her how the society newsletter was put together. She was so gracious to step up and take it over.
That turned out to be a long afternoon and you brought us lunch.
It was a time while Ruth (Clark’s mom) was living with them.
It was me, a PC operator, trying to explain to her, a MAC operator the components of desktop publishing. We were speaking two different languages. It was a memorable visit.
Shortly afterwards she moved to the Orlando area with Clark.
I’ve checked in with her on Facebook from time to time. While struggling with my own health issues over the last year and a half it has been less frequent.
I am so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful, caring soul.
May you find comfort in knowing that our short friendship, connecting through orchids, made lasting memories.
